Release archive

The release before this one, kept so that a report written under it can be reproduced, an older citation can be checked and an earlier assessment can be read: model 1.5.0, documents v1.4, site state 20 August 2026. It is superseded and offered for historical use only. The current, and only supported, assessment is the current one.

The preserved release

The download below is a capture of the public site as it was served on 6 September 2026, immediately before model 1.6.0 replaced it. It is a capture of the public HTTP interface, not the original source tree and not the deployment artefact. What each identifier means is set out in the changelog.

Verify it, then open it

Check the download against the hash above before trusting it. From the directory the archive is in:

cd downloads/archive then sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS-production-capture-2026-09-06.txt. Inside the ZIP, sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt checks every captured file.

1. Unzip it, and verify the hash.
2. Open a terminal in the unzipped site folder and run python3 -m http.server 8080.
3. Browse to http://localhost:8080/; the archived assessment is at http://localhost:8080/assess.html.

The archived pages use absolute paths, so they need a local server; site/downloads/tid-cmm-assessment.html is self-contained and opens by double-click. Run the archive on a local origin rather than beside the current tool: both use the same browser-storage schema, so two copies served from one origin would share saved state. That is why no browsable copy of the old assessment is published here.

Preserved publications

The publications of the 20 August 2026 release that this site keeps, with the hashes of the copies preserved here. The editable Word source is not published; the PDF is the published document. They are also listed in SHA256SUMS-2026-08-20.txt, which is checked the same way from downloads/archive.

Compatibility with the current release

• Maturity arithmetic. Model 1.6.0 keeps the arithmetic of 1.5.0 — the same domains, weights, level descriptors, constraint order and scoping rules — so a maturity score produced on 20 August 2026 is directly comparable with one produced by the current tool. The 1.6.0 additions have no counterpart in a 20 August assessment and are comparable only once they have been assessed.
• Saved assessments. A file saved by the 20 August tool imports into the current tool through the Import control on the first step: environment, crown jewels, adversaries, attack paths, telemetry coverage and capability answers are read as saved, the step index is remapped past the steps added since, and the detection and scenario registers start empty.
• Documents. The v1.4 white paper and workbooks describe the same model. Document 1.6 adds the detection and scenario registers, the evidence rules and the corrections listed in the changelog. Maturity figures in a v1.4 report remain valid under model 1.6.0.
• TIR-CMM export. The 20 August 2026 tool had no TIR-CMM export; the export document (tid-cmm/export/1.0) first reaches the public site with 1.6.0. TIR-CMM 1.0 can import the core handoff context it recognises; the export retains additional TID-CMM 1.6 assessment detail that the current TIR-CMM importer does not yet consume.

The archived model content and datasets are licensed CC BY 4.0, as they were on release. The archived assessment implementation — the browser tool, the single-file offline tool, the site’s own code and styles — is copyright © 2022–2026 Reza Adineh, all rights reserved. It is preserved here so that a historical result can be reproduced. It is not open-source licensed, and preservation grants no permission to redistribute it, rebrand it or build derivative tooling from it. See the licence page.
